This is a draft prepared for King Maker Society LLC to review with its own attorney before launch. It is not final legal advice.
1. What we collect
When you create an account we collect your email, date of birth, display name, bio, city and state, Instagram handle and follower count (if you provide them), photos you upload, and role-specific details such as discipline, level, or brand category. We also store the swipes, matches, and messages your account generates while using the app.
2. How we use it
We use this information to run the core features of the app: building your profile, showing you to the opposite role in the deck, creating matches, and enabling chat between matched users. We also use it to review and approve brand accounts, enforce our safety rules, and respond to reports.
3. Who can see your information
Your profile (photos, bio, and role-specific details) is visible to other approved users of the opposite role while you are active in the deck. Messages are visible to you and the person you matched with, and to King Maker Society administrators for safety, moderation, and oversight purposes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Where it's stored
Account data, photos, and messages are stored with Supabase, our database and storage provider. Payment information, when applicable, is handled directly by Stripe and is never stored on our own servers.
5. Your choices
You can edit most of your profile information at any time from your Profile page. You can block another user, which stops them from messaging you. You can request that we delete your account and associated data by contacting us.
6. Minors
King Maker Society Match is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we will remove it.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
8. Contact
